Simply superb performance for the second week in a row. The team is playing some very good football. Communication is good, passing is good and the defence is working together extremely well.

Started the game strongly, playing uphill on the Pavillion pitch at Great Hollands with Ruben, Luke, Doug and Jenson all running strongly at their defence.

We have several good chances from Jenson, Doug and Luke, but in the end, the first goal came from unlikeliest of sources to provide the breakthrough.
Leo up from the back hit a shot from outside the box. A defender deflected it past the keeper and Leo has his first 11 aside goal! 1-0 to Piranhas.

Hyenas did equalise. In a rare attack they crossed deep into the box. Alex made a superb save from their first effort, but it rebounded to an open player who smashed home the volley. 1-1.

Piranhas then pushed hard and a superb run by Ruben led to a great finish 2-1.

Ruben then drove through again and finished well to leave the score at 3-1 for half time.

Alec, Ryan, Joel and Leo were in control of our half of the pitch, well organised and starting to really talk to each other and support one another. Alec and Leo were incredible at keeping the runners down the flanks in check.

The midfield was being dominated by Zac, Liam, Orlando and Archie, doing a fantastic job pressing and winning the ball back quickly.

After the break we pushed again, and a corner routine worked with Archie getting his first of the season for 4-1.

We all had our head in our hands as Orlando made a great play and was very unlucky not to score.

Ruben’s speed and superb, calm finish meant a second week with a hattrick. 5-1.

There was still time for Liam to lob one over the keeper from outside the box, rounding off a 6-1 win.

All players excelled; this was the Piranhas' best performance yet.
