The Pumas made a steady start on a heavy surface, immediately testing Virtu’s defence with a sharp opening move to Shak out wide early on. A quick scramble followed in the Pumas box, but Nathan reacted well to clear danger. Jacob soon registered the first shot on target, though it was comfortably saved by the Virtu keeper.
Virtu responded with pressure of their own, forcing Nathan into multiple saves, including a strong stop at 11:02 and another rebound save after Virtu struck the post. The midfield battle intensified, with great throw-ins from Jaiden and James helping the Pumas gain territory. Jameel was battling hard, passing calmly out from the back, and clearing danger repeatedly as Virtu pushed forward.
Tom stood out, applying excellent pressure to attacks and producing crucial clearances. Ajay tracked back brilliantly to win the ball near goal, while Isaac and Omar helped move play forward despite Virtu’s strong defensive shape.
Despite improved passing spells and some neat build-up play, the Pumas struggled to break through. Then, at 11:18, Virtu capitalised on a rebound after another Nathan save, nudging the ball into an open goal to make it 1–0.
Substitutions followed, with Tené (captain), King, and Heath entering the game. The Pumas tried to regain control, but the half ended with Virtu narrowly ahead despite sustained effort and solid defending from Jameel, Tom, and Jacob.

With blue skies emerging, the Pumas came out re-energised. James played a calming pass back to steady the side, and Heath was immediately involved, drawing fouls and sparking attacks. Momentum built quickly.
At 11:41, a superb ball from Tom and a dangerous cross caused panic in the Virtu box — and moments later, the breakthrough came. Jacob latched onto the opportunity and lofted a brilliant finish over the Virtu goalkeeper to level the match at 1–1, set up by Heath. ⚽?
The Pumas were now flying. Miles delivered long throws, King made strong tackles, and Omar produced a vital clearance to stop a rapid Virtu counter down the left. Tené led from the front with driving runs and clever footwork, while Heath and Jameel linked up beautifully through midfield.
The game turned fiery when James was fouled heavily during a powerful run, leading to sideline foray and a red card for Virtu. The Pumas settled well after the stoppage and pressed hard, forcing multiple saves from the Virtu keeper and pinning them deep.
Despite controlling large spells, Virtu struck late. At 12:13, a free kick sees the ball looped over Nathan to make it 2–1 against the Pumas. The final whistle followed seconds later.
