The Jaguars kicked off the start to the 25/25 season with a home game against Woodley United Cyclones. Having not played the cyclones for a whole season, it was anyone's guess as to how the game would go.

With the Cyclones winning the toss and choosing to swap ends from the usual start of the Reading Road end to the Milton Road end, the Jaguars kicked off and immediately took control of the game.

The first half of the first 30 saw the Jaguars pepper the Cyclones goal with plenty of shots. The Cyclones Keeper started off on top form and kept a good clean sheet, until finally Abbey slot one past to start the goals off.

Evie quickly followed with another goal, and then Sienna slotted a 3rd in just before halftime.

The start of the second half saw a few breaking attacks from the Cyclones, that were quickly dealt with by the Jaguars captain, Floss, who dominated the Jaguars half making sure that very minimal attacks got through. Even when those attacks did make it through, Penny was able to keep them safely away from being converted.

After an uneasy start to the second half, the Jaguars finally settled in and proceeded to go ahead and take control of the game again, with Evie quickly racking up a second and third goals, getting her hattrick.

With the game looking convincingly won, Sienna took the ball up to the byline and proceeded to curl one in from an impossible angle, taking the Jaguars 6-0 up.

The final attacks of the game came, and Amelie managed to break through and slot the ball past the goalkeeper, only for it to be disallowed for offside, much to her (and the rest of the teams), disappoint.

The game finished 6-0, with Floss getting player of the match for her great defensive effort and team leading.
